How to Create High-Converting Lead Pages with Distribute

Welcome to our guide on creating effective lead pages using Distribute's platform. This comprehensive walkthrough will help you create personalized, high-value content pages that convert prospects into meetings.

Understanding LeadPages

Lead pages are interactive, Notion-style pages enhanced with conversion tools designed specifically for sales professionals. Their primary purpose is to deliver what we call High Value Piece of Content (HVPC) - personalized resources that demonstrate value to your prospects while facilitating easy meeting scheduling.

Getting Started

To create your first lead page, navigate to the dashboard and click "Create Page." Use AI to create your LeadPage using call recording content or a template to get started faster.

1 - On your page, open the sidebar

Open up the sidebar

2 - Add a conversion tool

Click the arrow next to "Advanced Conversions" to see a full list of conversion and lead capture tools available.

3 - Share the Page

In this example, I've added a content gate. Now, when I share the page, my viewers will be gated with a form.

Creating Your Content

Once you've created a new page, you'll access our intuitive editor. Here are the key features you should know about:

Using AI Assistance

Press the spacebar anywhere on the page to activate our AI assistant. You can request various types of content, such as:

  • Custom tables

  • Targeted messaging

  • Implementation timelines

  • Product comparisons

Adding Elements with the Content Components

Click the slash (/) command to access our built-in app store. This reveals a wide array of content elements you can add to your page:

  • Timelines

  • Video embeds

  • File attachments

  • Images

  • Customer testimonials

  • Task lists

  • Implementation guides

Working with Snippets

Snippets are reusable content blocks that save you time. Access your saved snippets through the slash menu to quickly insert frequently used content like case studies, product features, or company information.

Setting Up Conversion Tools

The real power of lead pages comes from their conversion capabilities. Here's how to add and configure conversion elements:

Adding Calendar Pop-ups

  1. Click the "Add Conversion Event" button

  2. Select "Calendar Pop-up" from the options

  3. Insert your scheduling link (compatible with Calendly, Chili Piper, Outreach, HubSpot, and other major scheduling tools)

  4. Customize your invitation message

  5. Set up trigger conditions

Configuring Trigger Settings

You can set two types of triggers for your calendar pop-ups:

  1. Time-based triggers: Set the pop-up to appear after a specific duration (e.g., 30 seconds of engagement)

  2. Exit-intent triggers: Activate the pop-up when a visitor attempts to leave the page

Tracking Engagement

Lead pages include comprehensive analytics to help you understand prospect engagement:

Available Metrics

  • Time spent on page

  • Company-level engagement (for B2B)

  • Conversion rates

  • Individual lead information

  • Page interaction patterns

Using Analytics for Follow-up

Monitor these metrics to:

  • Identify highly engaged prospects

  • Time your follow-up communications

  • Refine your content based on engagement patterns

  • Track the success of different page variations

Best Practices

To maximize the effectiveness of your lead pages:

Content Strategy

Create content that directly addresses your prospect's needs and pain points. This might include:

  • Custom analysis of their current situation

  • Relevant case studies

  • Implementation roadmaps

  • ROI calculations

Conversion Optimization

  • Use soft CTAs that feel natural rather than pushy

  • Place your most valuable content above the fold

  • Include social proof through testimonials and case studies

  • Keep the page focused on a single conversion goal

Testing and Iteration

  • Create different versions of your pages for different segments

  • Test various trigger timings for your pop-ups

  • Monitor which content sections generate the most engagement

  • Regularly update your content based on feedback and results

Next Steps

After creating your first lead page:

  1. Share it with your team for feedback

  2. Test it with a small group of prospects

  3. Monitor the analytics closely

  4. Iterate based on the results

  5. Scale your successful approaches across your pipeline

Remember, the key to success with lead pages is creating genuine value for your prospects while making it easy for them to take the next step in their buyer's journey.
